About our church
Our leadership
Our elders
Our elder group consists of 12 men, elected by the congregation for the task of leading the congregation, together with our pastor.
Elders are tasked with walking alongside church members in love, guiding them with spiritual advice, and prayerfully and humbly leading the congregation constantly to Christ in all that we do.
Our deacons
Our deacon group consists of 6 men, also elected by the congregation and responsible for what we call “the ministry of mercy”.
They ensure that the financial and physical needs of the congregation are met, as well as ensure that funds that are given by the membership go to ministries and causes that the church supports, for the glory of Christ’s kingdom.

Pastor Joel Overduin
Pastor Joel and his wife, Marianne, are both originally from British Columbia, but since 2001 have lived elsewhere, either for ministerial training (Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, MI, 2001-2005), serving as pastor in Mitchell, Ontario (2005-2013) and now in Vineland (2013-present). They have been blessed with five children.
Pastor Joel came to personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ during his high school years, and soon after it was his desire to serve the Lord in ministry. He counts it an amazing privilege to preach the gospel; in the words of Ephesians 3:8, “to me,…this grace was given, that I should preach….the unsearchable riches of Christ.” When our pastor is not engaged in ministry work, he is enjoying his family, a good book, some exercise somewhere or simply a walk through the countryside in Vineland.
